Powiatowa Kolej Wąskotorowa

The greatest attraction for guests visiting Środa Wielkopolska is a monumental narrow-gauge railway which connects Środa with Zaniemyśl. It is the remaining route of the railway system connecting Kobylepole (district of Poznań) with Zaniemyśl which was built at the beginning of the 20th century. At present it is only operated regularly in the summertime. The distance of 14 km is covered in a real slow stylish way and lasts 45 minutes.
